I Want To GIVE You My Dress!

I’ve decided there is absolutely no reason for me to keep my wedding dress in my closet…if someone else can use it, then I want them to have it! For free.

Let me explain why. My husband and I were on a tight budget for our wedding, as we had to pay for it ourselves, while moving into our first home together and taking care of combined four kids! and although I have champagne tastes, I didn’t have that kind of budget. lol I went to several wedding dress stores. I took my maid of honor once, I took my fiance’ and two youngest kids once (I don’t recommend this lol), and even went with my future Sister-in-Law and oldest step-daughter. After being crushed and disappointed by what I thought I wanted as dress style (the mermaid style looked horrible on me), I finally found what DID work, but of course the price tag was a little high. 😦 SO, I started looking online.

Thankfully, I was far enough out from my actual date that I could order and if it didn’t fit just right, I could have it altered. Well, I did that. Ordered from an international online retailer, and prayed for the best.

I was extremely nervous when it arrived, sooner that expected. I tried to try it on at home by myself, but because it has a corset back, I couldn’t quite do it. But I did marvel at how it looked just laying on my bed.

I decided to host a get together at my house with my Mom, future Sister-In-Law and Maid and Matron of honor.

Bottom line is, don’t make getting a wedding dress harder than it has to be, nor keep you from having the wedding of your dreams. If this dress is for you or anyone else you know, please let me know and it’s yours!

PS Shipping in the US only.
